In 1986, we took our first Alaskan Malamute, "Kiska", to obedience and conformation training classes, showed her, and got hooked for life!!!  We then decided to get a really good show puppy, so we purchased our awesome foundation dog, "Boomer" from Storm Kloud Kennels.  Next came our incredible once in a lifetime foundation bitch, "Kassi", from Kasaan Kennels, and here we are today!

Roseann enjoys showing the dogs in conformation, and also enjoys obedience, running the sled team, and competing in weight pulls.  She is an obedience instructor and conformation handling instructor.  Roseann can also occasionally be seen judging Sweepstakes at Malamute Specialties, and had the honor of being the Breeder Judge for the "Top Twenty Event" at the 50th Anniversary AMCA National Specialty.

Richard enjoys participating in the working activities of the dogs, running the sled team, competing in weight pulls, and hiking/back-backing with the dogs.  He also enjoys taking the dogs to visit schools and scout troops, doing educational talks about Malamutes.

• Alaskan Malamute Association of Eastern Pennsylvania
  (Both of us have served as President -- Roseann also served as Secretary)
• Harrisburg Kennel Club
  (Roseann served on the Board of Directors for several years)
• Obedience Training Class of Harrisburg

As strong as our love is for our dogs and this breed, we also have a special bond and love for the friends we have made along the way in the dog world.  We have met many wonderful people. We treasure these friendships, and look forward to many more good times together.  We also look forward to developing new friendships in the future.
