Boomer was our first show dog, our first champion, and
our foundation dog. He was a very special dog in so many ways. When Boomer flew
in to us from Nancy Russell, Storm Kloud Kennels, at 8 weeks of age, he already knew how to
stack and stay. He always had a proud presence and that "look at me" show attitude.
He was a powerful moving dog, and exhibited that in the show ring and on the
sled team.
Boomer loved running on our small 2-dog sled team at that time
with the love of his life, Kassi. In obedience, he earned two legs toward his CD,
but couldn't stop "wooing" on his stationeries, so he would get disqualified, and never
finished his CD title.
He was a fun dog. He enjoyed swimming, going down sliding
boards, playing hide-and-go-seek, and nuzzling his nose in your hair to mess it up.
One of his favorite things to do was when Roseann wanted to wake Rich up from sleeping,
Roseann would tell Boomer, "Go wake Rich up"...he would run upstairs, jump up on the bed,
pounce on Rich, and woo-woo at him while pulling the covers off of him. |

Boomer's success in the show ring got us hooked on conformation
showing. Roseann always owner-handled him to all of his wins. As a producer,
Boomer had a strong influence on many of the top all-around dogs produced here at Kloud
Burst.
We miss you Boo-bear. But we know that you are still
watching over us and cheering on your legacy that are here with us today.
